Natalie Kasunic – ACT Apprentice of the Year FINALIST — Cataldo's Salon

Natalie Kasunic – ACT Apprentice of the Year FINALIST

Posted 17 September 2013 11:51pm

It’s official, Cataldo’s very own Natalie Kasunic was selected as a 2013 finalist ACT Apprentice of the Year.

This young, passionate up-and-coming hair stylist to the stars has studied and worked hard and even completed her apprenticeship 6 months ahead of schedule.

Throughout her apprenticeship, Natalie has shown a passion for learning and a commitment to her craft – seeing it as so much more than just a job. She has enthusiastically taken every opportunity available to improve herself, personally and professionally, including local and national events, education programs, and she couldn’t say no to a trip to Bali to attend the Kerastase National Ambassador Forum which focused on business and marketing – well, who could really?

Yet, being recognised by the Apprentice of the Year Awards is not just about Natalie being a great hair stylist, it looks at the whole person.

Her enthusiasm is contagious – and not just at the salon. Natalie volunteers her time for Cataldo’s free haircuts for families in need, offered in association with the Salvation Army. Everyone knows a great haircut makes you feel great, and it’s a real morale booster those less fortunate too. This commitment, plus Natalie’s work with ACT Government initiative, Homeless Connect, shows the importance Natalie places on giving back.

Everyone here at Cataldo’s has taken a lot of joy watching Natalie go from strength to strength and use her passion for hairdressing and people to make a real difference in the community.

Well done Natalie!
